ViCi have qualified for the Asia Minor after besting TYLOO 2-1 in the upper bracket final of the Greater China closed qualifier.

The two dominant sides in China went head to head in the Asia Minor Greater China Closed Qualifier's upper bracket final, fighting for the first of two spots on offer. After taking down JiJieHao and EHOME in two three-map series, ViCi took on TYLOO, who had previously beaten Wubbalubbadubdub and Lynn Vision, to secure a berth in the Asia Minor.

Andrew "⁠kaze⁠" Khong and WeiJie "⁠zhokiNg⁠" Zhong led the ViCi assault on TYLOO throughout the series, with the players achieving 1.46 and 1.38 ratings, respectively, across the three maps.

The matchup witnessed both teams secure their own map picks as ViCi comfortably locked down Vertigo (16-8), while TYLOO fought hard to close out Mirage (16-13) despite holding a 15-7 advantage on the map.

The series then went to Train to decide the victor, where a dominant T side performance from ViCi saw the Chinese squad head into halftime with an 11-4 lead. TYLOO attempted to narrow the score difference with a five-round streak, but the gap proved too large as ViCi closed out the series soon after at 16-9.

TYLOO will still have the chance to qualify for the Asia Minor through the tournament's lower bracket, in which they will face either EHOME, R-Stars, Lynn Vision or JiJieHao in the consolidation final.
